Barbara Watts, CPA

As shareholder in the firm and a member of the firm’s Audit Committee, Barbara Watts specialization is in the auditing arena. From governmental, for profit, financial institutions and non-profit agencies, Barbara serves a broad range of clients in a wide variety of industries. Through continuing professional education courses, Barbara is able to provide the most up-to-date techniques available in the business sector to help enhance her clients’ profitability and success.

Barbara graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana and is currently on their Accounting Advisory Board.  She is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, where she currently serves as Chairman on the Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee and Treasurer of the South Central Chapter.  She is on the Board of Directors for the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce where she was elected Treasurer beginning 2011.
