M. Rebecca Gardes, CPA

Rebecca is a shareholder in the firm and a member of the firm’s Tax Committee, with over 25 years experience in accounting.  Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Rebecca was the Tax Partner for J. S. Gardes & Company.  Truly committed to minimizing the impact of taxes on our clients, her extensive expertise covers individual, corporate, partnership, estate and trust taxation; tax planning; estate planning; business succession planning; divorce; business acquisitions, mergers, and liquidations. 

Over the years, Rebecca has provided her expert services to a very broad spectrum of clients including restaurants, automobile dealerships, oil and gas service companies, privately owned jails, manufacturers, construction and real estate development, retail businesses, law firms, medical practices, architectural firms, and farming.  Many of Becky's clients rely on her to help them with their daily decisions, and she has traveled internationally helping her clients negotiate business contracts and analyzing the tax law of various foreign countries. 

Rebecca was born and raised in Lafayette, LA.  She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana – Lafayette).  She is a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
