Steven G. Moosa – CPA
Steven is a shareholder in the firm with a practice focused in the area of
governmental, not-for-profit and commercial auditing, individual and corporate
tax planning, and business consulting services. He
has successfully developed sound financial and management reporting systems for
his clients, assisted clients with resolving tax and compliance issues with the
Internal Revenue Service and other governmental agencies. Through continuing
professional education courses, Steven is able to provide his clients
with the most up-to-date techniques available in the business sector to help
enhance his clients’ profitability and success.
As a licensed securities professional, having obtained his NASD Series 7 and
NASAA Series 66 licenses, Steven assists the firm's clients with their financial
and investing needs. He is a member of the firm’s
Financial Services Committee and is a
registered representative with 1st Global Capital Corporation.*
Steven received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from
the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana –
Lafayette). Graduating with honors, Steven was chosen as the Outstanding Graduate of
the College of Business by the Alumni Association. Immediately following
graduation, Steven began his career with Ernst & Young of New Orleans for two
years prior to returning to Eunice in 1993, when he joined the firm of Darnall,
Sikes, Gardes & Frederick. While in New Orleans, Steven completed the
requirements to become a CPA and was certified in July of 1992.
He is a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana
Certified Public Accountants. He has also served as a member and officer
of the Eunice Chamber of Commerce for the past five years, and the Kiwanis club
of Eunice since 1999, where he currently resides as President.
