Chris Miller – CPA, CVA
 

As a shareholder in the firm, Chris concentrates his practice in the areas of individual and corporate income tax, audits, and reviews of corporate financial statements, management advisory services, and business valuations. He has been with Darnall, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick since 1990. Chris has successfully developed sound financial and management reporting systems for his clients, and communicated the every day human resource skills needed in the business community. He works with clients to be goal-oriented and to have a vision for their company.

Chris is a Certified Valuation Analyst and is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He has performed valuations for clients in industries ranging from marine vessels and offshore energy services to trucking companies and retail establishments.  Chris is also a licensed financial advisor, having obtained the NASD Series 7 and NASAA Series 66 licenses, and is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Committee.  He is a registered representative with 1st Global Capital Corporation.^*   

A graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Chris is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Lafayette Chapter of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
