Joan B. Moody, CPA

Joan is a shareholder of Darnall, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick and a Director of the firm’s Tax Committee.  With over 19 years experience in accounting, her practice specialization is in the areas of taxation, business consulting and wealth management. She has worked extensively with physician and dental practices, law firms, real estate and construction companies.

Having obtained her FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, Joan is a licensed securities professional assisting the firm's clients with their financial and investing needs. She is a registered representative with 1st Global Capital Corporation.^*

Joan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in 1988 and went on to achieve her CPA license in 1990.  She is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accounts.  She is also active civically with the Fatima Foundation Board in Lafayette.
