Eugene H. Darnall III - CPA

With more than 24 years experience in accounting, Gene serves on the firm's Computer and Information Technology Committee and the firm's Tax Committee. He provides crucial information via computer and telecommunications systems to ensure that clients stay ahead of the trends and changes that affect them.

Gene specializes in the oil and gas service industry, closely held corporations and business technology solutions. His multi-faceted perspective has led to a client base which also includes retailers, financial institutions, professional service organizations, and high income individuals.

In accordance with the firm's "entrepreneurial insight" and general philosophy, Gene also performs management advisory services, litigation support, business succession planning, estate planning, and business consulting.

By achieving the NASD Series 7 and NASAA Series 66 licenses, Gene is also a licensed financial advisor and assists the firm's clients with their financial and investing needs.  He is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Committee and is a registered representative with 1st Global Capital Corporation.^*  

Gene earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette.) He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, and the AICPA Tax Practice Section.  Gene also serves as a member of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry and the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.
