Chad Bailey – CPA

As a partner with Darnall, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick, Chad is responsible for overseeing the firm’s retirement plan audit practice.  He has spent most his career auditing various types of retirement plans and specializing in the retirement plan arena.  Since joining the firm in 2003, he has also focused his practice on individual and corporate tax service, corporate audits and reviews, small business consulting, and management advisory services.

Chad received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southwest Louisiana (now University of Louisiana – Lafayette) in 1999.  While attending the University, he was a four year scholar athlete and was recognized twice as an academic all-conference participant.  He started his career with Arthur Andersen in the Houston location for five years, before returning to Lafayette in 2003.  He also became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 2003. 

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and the ULL Alumni Association.  He is also a member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.
