Since beginning his career with Darnall, Sikes, Gardes, and Frederick in 1993, John has excelled in working with clients to help them realize their personal and professional goals. John serves on the firm’s Information Technology, Tax, and Financial Services Committees and is the managing partner at the Morgan City branch.

John graduated from Louisiana State University and earned his CPA certification while working at Darnall, Sikes, Gardes, and Frederick in 1993. Since then, his insight and business acumen have proved an asset to the firm. John’s licenses and memberships include:

  • Membership in the AICPA and the SLCPA.
  • A licensed financial advisor who has earned the NASD Series 7 and NASAA series 66 certifications, John is also a registered representative of 1st Global Capital Corporation.*

While John focuses in corporate and individual tax planning and compliance, he firmly believes in taking a hands-on, comprehensive approach to assisting the financial management needs of his clients.
