Camos’ work shifted from primarily acrylics to her current
images using encaustic and mixed media assemblages.
Her work is influenced by the lush landscapes of
Southwest Louisiana and the coastal plains.
“My images express the love that I have for this place we call home.
Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to behold, from the
rice and cane fields that surround us, to the marshlands of the
coast. I would like to
engage the viewer’s senses through the use of rich colors,
serene scenes and have them feel the connection that we all
have with nature.”
