Giselle
is a young promising artist from Lafayette, LA. Although she
has been well recognized for her artistic abilities since a young
age, her dynamic character called her to engineering during her
studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Active at
the university, she made time to always remain involved with the
art-world. Giselle worked as a Civil Engineer for 2 years in
South Florida, but was given the opportunity to pursue this dream
career. Since her ambitious career change, she has developed a
truly unique, eye-catching style that showcases her visionary
talent. She currently showcases her work at various shows,
restaurants, and galleries throughout Louisiana and the Turks and
Caicos islands. Giselle
and her husband moved to New Orleans in 2007 where she ran her
gallery, Giselle’s Gallery, on Royal St. in the French Quarter.
Now, they have recently relocated to their hometown of
Lafayette. With the support of her husband, she pursues her
professional career as an artist in the midst of South Louisiana
while remaining in touch with her Cajun roots and tropical past.
Giselle
has been lured towards the art world ever since she can remember.
Her diverse background enriches her work by pushing the boundaries
of design and method. To emphasize luminosity, she sculpts the
vivid hues with her palette knife in a neo-impressionistic approach.
She often focuses on the strength of one creature or element,
projecting nature’s intricacies on a large scale.
